UNS Fully funded scholarship for Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral Program 2022
Are you planning to study abroad in September 2022? Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), , Surakarta, in Indonesia, invites prospective international students to pursue bachelor, master, and doctoral degree programs at UNS through self-funding and UNS Scholarship scheme. Two types of scholarship are offered namely fully funded and partial.
What does the scholarship cover?
Based on the type of scholarships granted, the successful candidates in Fully funded scholarship type will benefit of:
- tuition fee waiver
- monthly living cost
- free Indonesian language course
- student dormitory
- breakfast meal at student dormitory
Candidates who receive partial scholarship will only benefit of tuition fee waiver and free Indonesian language course.
Students are thoroughly responsible for all other fees and expenses such as airfare, visas and immigration fees, additional accommodation and meals, transportation, health insurance, and other personal expenses.

UNS has one vocational school, eleven faculties, and one postgraduate school, as listed below:
- Faculty of cultural science
- Faculty of law
- Faculty of social and political science
- Faculty of teacher training and education
- Faculty of economics and business
- Faculty of engineering
- Faculty of medicine
- Faculty of agriculture
- Faculty of mathematics and natural science
- Faculty of arts and design

- Postgraduate school

What are the required documents?
All documents must be uploaded via online application form and includes the following:
- Recent formal photograph (JPG or PNG max. 300 KB).
- Colour scan of valid passport having at least 18 months of validity (cover page & identity page).
- Certificate of graduation from the latest education institution (in English or Indonesian language).
- Academic transcripts from the latest education institution (in English or Indonesian language).
- Recent health certificate (in English or Indonesian language).
- Curriculum Vitae (check the template provided).
- Financial statement (check the template provided).
- Personal statement (check the template provided).
- Certificate of Indonesian language proficiency (strongly preferred).
- Certificate of English language proficiency.
- 2 Letter of recommendation, from a lecturer/professor or work supervisor (for master and doctoral program).
- Preliminary research proposal to be developed into a dissertation (for doctoral program).

Important dates:
Applicants can submit the required documents from 1 July to 30 September 2022. Several test will occur and the final notification will be set on October 2022 before processing to the Visa and student registration process. Students are expected to arrive at UNS in December 2022 and start with Indonesian language course on February 2023.
