Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. While they may be currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program, they must be available full-time throughout the MPI internship.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in migration, asylum, or integration.
- They must also demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in English, which is the primary language used by the staff.
- Applicants must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in additional languages besides English and the ability to use Microsoft Access are preferred.
- Experience with quantitative, qualitative, or policy research is also advantageous.
- Interns are expected to work a five-day schedule totaling 38 hours per week in the office, with the possibility of telework twice a week after two months.
- Only applicants who are eligible to work in Belgium will be considered for the MPI Research Internship.
Responsibilities of Research Interns:
- Contribute to overall research efforts.
- Assist MPI Europe team members, including senior management, with various tasks.
