FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship Program 2023-2024

The FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship Program 2023-2024 is accepting applications for fully funded master's scholarships. The program is funded by the Hungarian Government through an agreement with FAO in 2007. Eligible students from developing countries can receive funding for postgraduate studies at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, enabling them to study at an international university. If you are a bachelor's degree graduate interested in pursuing a master's degree in agriculture or biotechnology, this scholarship may be ideal for you.

The fully-funded FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship for international students offers two English-language master's programs: Master in Agricultural Water Management Engineering and Master in Biotechnology at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Students pursuing these programs can apply for this scholarship. The selection process involves two phases. In the first phase, applicants submit their documents to FAO, who preview and forward them to the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary. In the second phase, the university will finalize the selected applicants without FAO involvement.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a United Nations agency focused on advancing the agricultural sector and fighting global hunger. Its mission includes promoting food security and improving access to safe and healthy food for all, in collaboration with other organizations and agencies, across various countries. FAO strives to create a world that is free of poverty, food crisis, and hunger, and has partnered with governments to launch initiatives specifically targeted at agricultural development and related technologies.

A European master's degree scholarship can assist students in improving their abilities and accomplishing their objectives in a highly coveted location. The scholarship provides diverse academic activities and projects to augment students' skills during their stay, as well as the opportunity to study with individuals from various cultures, races, and religions without discrimination. In addition, the FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship will assist in expanding students' networks, providing access to a worldwide community and professional mentoring. If eligible, students should take advantage of this opportunity to study in Hungary.
