Rotary Peace Fellowship master's and Certificate programs

Peacebuilders and community leaders are very important for the well-being of the world because they work to prevent, reduce and resolve conflicts that threaten human security and dignity. They promote dialogue, reconciliation and cooperation among different groups and stakeholders, and they foster a culture of peace and non-violence. Peacebuilders and community leaders also contribute to the development of inclusive and democratic societies, where human rights, justice and equality are respected and protected. By doing so, they help to create the conditions for sustainable peace and prosperity for all.

The Rotary Peace Centers program aims to create sustainable peace by supporting peacebuilders and community leaders who work to prevent and resolve conflicts worldwide. The program offers academic and professional training, as well as practical experience, to equip the participants with the skills and knowledge they need to make a positive impact. The program also connects the participants with a global network of peers, mentors and experts who share their vision and values. Through the Rotary Peace Centers program, the Rotary Foundation hopes to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders for peace.

The Rotary Foundation is a public charity that supports Rotary members in their efforts to improve the world through service projects. The Foundation funds initiatives that address global challenges such as health, education, environment, and poverty. The Foundation also offers scholarships, fellowships, and training programs to empower current and future leaders for peace. The Foundation was established in 1917 with an initial contribution of $26.50, and has since spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

Through academic training, practice, and global networking opportunities, the Rotary Peace Centers program develops the capacity of peace and development professionals to become effective catalysts for peace. The Rotary Peace Fellowship is designed for leaders with work experience in peace and development. Fellows are committed to community and international service and the pursuit of peace.
