Grasshoppers are orthoptic insects that move by jumping with their long hind legs. These insects are harmless because they do not sting, do not transmit disease and do not bite. Around the world, a grasshopper escape can occur due to weather conditions.
For Las Vegas in the US, roads, walls, tourists and social networks have recently been drowned by a huge invasion of a million grasshoppers. The ultraviolet lights in the shops or in the streets attract them and they are everywhere. Indeed, when the winter and the spring are wet, the grasshoppers take advantage to go towards the north which explains this phenomenon of several days now which should soon be ended.
