Einstein Forum Fellowship program in Germany (Fully Funded), deadline on 25 May 2021

In Germany, a fellowship program is now available to international students and outstanding young thinkers researchers who wish to pursue a project in a different field from that of their previous research. Offered by the Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation, the purpose of the fellowship is to support those who, in addition to producing superb work in their area of specialization, are also open to other, interdisciplinary approaches following the example set by Albert Einstein.

What does the fellowship covers?

  • A reimbursement of the travel expenses. The successful awardee can be accompanied by their family during the fellowship period but the family’s travel expenses will not be covered.
  • An accommodations for five to six months in the garden cottage of Einstein`s own summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg
  • A stipend of Eur 10000.

What are the requirements?

In order to apply for the fellowship, candidates must follow the criteria and documents required bellow:

  • The Einstein Fellowship is not intended for applicants who wish to complete an academic study they have already begun.
  • Age under 35
  • Hold a university degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences field.
  • A Curriculum Vitae
  • Two-page project proposal
  • Two letters of recommendation

Application Deadline:

Candidate must apply for the Einstein Fellowship before 15th May 2021. The application review and interview processes begin in June, with final decisions released by the end of July.
